Inside Sales Representative

Full Time Inside Sales Representative  – La Crosse, WI:  Kwik Trip, Inc. offers a variety of fuel options to business fleet customers including diesel, compressed natural gas (CNG), unleaded and other fuels.  Kwik Trip, Inc.’s Commercial Sales Department is looking for a full time Inside Sales Representative. This person is responsible for increasing the company’s market share in a designated territory through creation of new business and increasing sales of existing accounts to achieve sales goals. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Make B2B outbound calls to potential businesses
  • Contact and close new leads over the phone
  • Demonstrate and communicate the value our products are adding to the client’s business
  • Gather initial information from prospective customers
  • Answer inbound customer calls regarding product and service information
  • Maintain a customer database to store personal information
  • Upsell new and existing customers value added services
  • Complete required documentation
  • Proactively solicit and resolves any client concerns in a fair and timely manner
  • Identify self-generated lead opportunities
  • Review accounts to ensure sales and profitability potentials are being met
  • Report weekly activity to the sales team

Qualifications:

  • Ability to meet sales goals
  • Demonstrate closing skills, prospecting skills, negotiation, self-confidence, product knowledge, presentation skills, client relationships, and motivation for sales
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to represent and promote Kwik Trip, Inc. in a professional manner over the phone
  • Ability to process, interpret, and communicate both verbal and written information to customers in a professional and customer oriented manner
  • Demonstrate self-initiative
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Possess a valid driver’s license with good driving record
  • Possess strong typing and data entry skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and sales management software is required
  • Knowledge/experience with the transportation/fleet/trucking industries, fleet payment card programs, and prior phone sales experience is preferred

Work Schedule:  Monday through Friday, daytime hours.
