AI Editorial Intern – Job Description: THIS IS NOT AN ENGINEERING OR SOFTWARE ROLE

Responsibilities:

• Create long-form articles using AI tools and Underground Group’s proprietary tools and editorial workflow
   
• Write from structured client briefs and apply editorial best practices
   
• Edit for tone, clarity, structure, and accuracy
   
• Fact-check and refine AI-generated content to ensure quality and consistency
   
• Apply light SEO optimization using Surfer or SEMrush
   
• Track assignments, revisions, and deadlines using Google Docs, Sheets, and Gmail
   
• Follow internal scoring and content quality guidelines
   

Requirements:

• Experience using ChatGPT or similar AI writing tools
   
• Basic knowledge of SEO (keyword integration, headers, meta tags)
   
• Strong writing and editing skills with attention to voice and tone
   
• Detail-oriented with a focus on factual accuracy
   
• Strong working knowledge of Google Suite—particularly Docs, Sheets, and Gmail
   
• Organized, deadline-conscious, and eager to learn

• Interest in AI, content strategy, tech, and AI-assisted editorial workflows
