About FinMagix
FinMagix is an emerging consumer fintech focused on empowering individuals to improve their financial wellness. Our holistic platform ingests data and produces insights across 21 key markers—income, spending, debts, assets, insurance, and more. It also generates a single “FinMagix Score” that reflects a person’s overall financial health. Through personalized insights, projections, and coaching, we help users take actionable steps toward their goals.
Position Overview
As a FinMagix Intern, you will work closely with our leadership team—including the Founder, CTO, and Head of Strategy—to support market research, lead-generation, and early-stage customer outreach. You’ll gain hands-on experience in crafting sales funnels, refining messaging, and onboarding pilot users, all while developing core skills in strategy, marketing communications, and sales within a fast-moving fintech startup.
Key Responsibilities
Market Research: Map out customer segments, competitive landscape, and market sizing
Target List Development: Build and maintain lists of prospects by vertical and persona
Customer Outreach: Execute email and social-media campaigns to engage potential pilot users
Sales Funnel Management: Track leads through discovery, demo, and onboarding phases
Pilot Onboarding: Support the onboarding process—conduct demos, collect feedback, and optimize the user experience
Collaboration: Participate in weekly strategy meetings; present findings and recommendations to leadership

Qualifications
Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate program (Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or related)
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication
Self-starter attitude; able to work independently and within a small team
Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) a plus
Passion for personal finance and fintech innovation
Internship Details
Part-Time: ~15–20 hours/week (flexible around your classes)

Location: Fully remote
Compensation: Monthly stipend, plus potential for continued part-time engagement after Summer
