Warehouse Clerk

The Merchandise Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately entering and maintaining merchandise data within the Sales Management System (SMS). This role ensures that all product information is up-to-date and correctly reflected in the system to support sales, inventory management, and customer service operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Entry- Accurately input merchandise details such as product descriptions, prices, SKUs, and inventory labels in SMS
  • Quality Control-Verify the accuracy of entered data and perform regular audits to ensure consistency and correctness
  • Collaboration-Work closely with the purchasing, sales, and customer service teams to ensure seamless data flow and support operational needs
  • Problem resolution- Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to merchandise data in the SMS

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in data management or related fields is a plus
  • Experience: Previous experience in data entry, inventory management, or a similar role is preferred.

Working Conditions

  • Environment
    • Warehouse setting with regular use of computers and other office equipment
    • Requires standing throughout the day
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Hours: Full-time position with standard warehouse hours-currently 5am-1:30pm; occasional overtime may be required.
