Business Development and Partnerships Assistant

SpectroArt – Remote | Part-Time (10–20 hrs/week, flexible) | Internship

Music Tech Startup | Artist & Label Relations | Founder-Mentored Role

About SpectroArt

SpectroArt transforms music into immersive, visual experiences. Our core product turns entire songs into 3D art pieces, paired with an interactive iOS app featuring artist commentary, fan storytelling, and deep music engagement. We’ve collaborated with award-winning producers, gone viral on TikTok, and are quickly becoming a new standard in music merch and storytelling.

Your Role

We're hiring a Business Development & Partnerships Assistant to the Founder—a hybrid role blending sales, executive support, and creative industry networking.

You’ll work side-by-side (virtually) with our founder to identify, connect with, and onboard new partners: from indie record labels and artist managers to producers, musicians, and music tech companies.

You’ll be the first touchpoint in our deal flow. Your mission is to get us in the room so our founder can close the deal.

What You’ll Do

  • Research labels, managers, artists, and companies aligned with SpectroArt
  • Write and send cold outreach emails and DMs
  • Manage lead pipelines and follow-ups in our CRM
  • Schedule intro meetings and prep briefing docs
  • Jump on calls when needed to represent SpectroArt
  • Keep momentum warm in all partner communications
  • Strategize with the founder to improve outreach effectiveness

What We’re Looking For

  • You love connecting with people and starting conversations
  • You understand the music industry (or are eager to learn fast)
  • You’re organized and can track multiple conversations at once
  • You write well and know how to get someone’s attention
  • You’re reliable, proactive, and scrappy
  • Bonus: Experience in sales, music marketing, or artist management

Perks

  • Work directly with the Founder/CEO of a fast-growing music-tech startup
  • Flexible schedule, fully remote
  • Opportunity for long-term growth into a permanent role

Who Should Apply

This is perfect for students or recent grads in:

  • Music Business / Music Tech
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Marketing / PR / Communications
  • Creative Industry Management

If you’ve ever thought, “I'm great at getting people to say yes,” we want to meet you.
