Clinical Research Coordinator

Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC):
You will learn and perform subject recruitment, where you’ll lean how to evaluate and recruit treatment-seeking potential trial participants. You will learn the administrative requirement for the job and build it on top of recruitment.  You will slowly transition from recruitment to becoming a CRC on our internal self sponsored clinical trials.  You will continue to learn the responsibilities and be placed on a industry sponsored trial when you have showed adequate skill and responsibility.   Recruitment will then constitute the primary duties of the new CRC while they complete the remainder of the onboarding process. Second, CRCs receive training on medical procedures, increasing in complexity to a point where CRCs feel most comfortable, including the opportunity to learn how to safely perform phlebotomy, electrocardiograms, and other medical procedures. Communication skills with participants, families, and a multispecialty team will be fostered during this time period.  Commonly the opportunities to train in basic independent interviewing the neuropsychiatric and diagnostics like FibroScan training arises.   Finally, the program incorporates training on good clinical practice and clinical research study operations. Throughout this process, CRCs will spend time in small group training sessions led by our doctors.
