
Sales Coordinator

The Sales Coordinator will support and assist our Business Development Managers and Account Executives to prospect for new clients and business, deliver new leads and contacts to call on, and support sales reps in maintaining strong relationships within their assigned accounts to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. This role is responsible for daily prospecting, assisting with answering client inquiries, issue resolution and customer follow up, monitoring brand and industry for intel and lead generation and provide territory and desk coverage, when needed. The Sales Coordinator team works closely alongside Sales, Project Management and Marketing.
About the Role
As a Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for and expected to:
- Prospect for new business and customers using industry and company resources
- Update and refresh accounts within Brandpoint’s CRM systems
- Create custom proposals, sales collateral and custom examples for client pitch portfolios at the direction of BDM
- Research and draft answers to client inquiries under direction of BDM
- Post event or sale support as requested by BDM
- Monitor and share industry, agency and brand intelligence
- Generate opportunities through lead generation
- Create and process contracts at direction of BDM
- Shadow Account Executives and Project Managers to learn the business for future succession planning.
- Enthusiastically participate in continued sales training development and skill improvement.
- Flexibility on taking on additional or changing job duties
About You
You are a fit for the Sales Coordinator role if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1+ years’ experience in account management or client service
- Experience and/or interest in sales and business development
- Advanced problem resolution skills and communication abilities
- Comfort with working in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence in mastering new software and technology like Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excitement for and ability to thrive working on a small, dynamic team supporting a high-performing, fast-paced sales team
- A can-do attitude and life-long learning mindset who can be coached
- Desire to grow within an organization that shares similar values
