This internship provides hands-on experience during hop harvest season. Interns will support order fulfillment, on-farm research, and marketing efforts. An ideal opportunity for students or recent graduates in agriculture, the role offers insights into both operational and promotional aspects of specialty crop production.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in fulfilling fresh hop orders, including packaging and coordinating customer pickups
- Oversee and support a fresh hop storage quality study
- Participating in post-harvest marketing initiatives
- Assist with hop kilning operations
- Support marketing and brewer outreach efforts, including event coordination and logistics
Qualifications
- Student or recent graduate in Agricultural Science, Agricultural Business, or related field
- Strong background in agriculture preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a dynamic farm environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours during harvest season
