IT Video Conference & Communications Support- Paid, Part-Time Work- Student Program (Wayne, PA) Summer '25 (apply at usli.com/students)

The USLI Student Program connects students to a variety of opportunities at our company. We employ around 220 college students year-round and approximately 240 during the summer. Our goal is to provide students with meaningful work experiences that prepare them for their next professional step, as well as the chance to explore a career in the insurance industry.

We require our students to be enrolled in at least 6 credits per semester at a 2- or 4-year college/university. They must be available to work at least 12 hours each week and at least 4 hours on any given day that they are choosing to work. Please be aware that this position requires the individual to work in-office year-round. 

We are looking for students to work with our Information Technology team on the IT Video Conference Support - Unified Communications side, year-round. 

What specific skills are you looking for?

• 12-15 hours minimum per week, 29 hours per week, year round
• Shows initiative and acts independently to research and resolve problems.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills interacting with people who have no technical training as well as with those that do have a technical background 
• Previous customer service experience working with the public
• IT/Computer Science major preferred

What are the essential functions of the student?

• You will work in our physical office with full time technicians as part of the team. 
• Perform day-to-day administrative and technical duties as they pertain to video conferencing needs.  Support the community with video conferencing related service requests. Log all requests into the IT Service Request System.  Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
• Service focused attitude, accuracy, attention to detail, highly organized and professional phone skills.  Strong oral and written communication skills
• Manage multiple support channels including phone, email and chat would be a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); ability to work independently
• You will have an assigned coach
