
Manchester, NH-based. Fall 2025 Social Media/Marketing Internship
Responsibilities
- Help manage social media accounts including Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram, etc. This incorporates:
- Posting daily content.
- Monitoring, listening and responding to users in a quick and effective manner.
- Asking good, relevant, and thought-provoking questions in an engaging way.
- Setting the tone for the community, being present, and enforcing community guidelines.
- Work with other creatives to manage the content and design of all the company’s social media sites in order to heighten engagement, increase SEO, and promote the company.
- Facilitate the creation of new marketing campaigns and brand promotions for the company via social media.
- Coordinate with other creatives in the company to coordinate campaigns and brand promotions to fit in to the overall marketing and promotional goals of the company.
- Keep a pulse on the industry and maintain frequent presence on relevant beauty sites and blogs to increase the company’s exposure in the industry.
- Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.
- Brainstorm and develop processes for capturing customer online reviews and monitor these online ratings accordingly.
- Research and write relevant content for the company’s social media sites, including blogs, landing pages, email follow ups, etc.
- Suggest and plan events to promote brand awareness and/or educate our current customers.
- Research and focus on potential buyers and their personal needs in order to engage them with content and information.
- Adapt content specifically for each social network to yield more clicks and leads.
- Dig into data, analyzing data, and drawing actionable insights. This includes macro data (like overall reach, leads generated, leads nurtured, customer cases supported) all the way down to micro data (like individual experiments around content positioning).
- Direct followers' questions or comments appropriately and provide a course of action for resolution.
- Work with the marketing team to gain creative understanding of product positioning and packaging/brand vision.
- Establish project direction and help ensure deadlines are met.
Other Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation and marketing of education events.
- Support our customer service team if needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or pursing)
- Excellent writing and language skills
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms
- Strong organization skills, communication skills and decision-making skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
- Outstanding customer service skills and conflict resolution principles
- Understanding of the company and its products.
- Proficient knowledge of Adobe suite.
