This position is physically located at the California Natural Resources Building in Downtown Sacramento.

Duties: Under the direction of the Senior Engineer, Water Resources - Manager of Right of Way Management Section, the incumbent performs a broad variety of professional engineering work related to the operation and maintenance of the State Water Project (SWP). The main responsibility of this position is to review, coordinate, and manage requests and approvals for construction activities that may impact the operation and maintenance of SWP. The main functions are to reviewing and analyze engineered plans and specifications, project descriptions, environmental documents, construction submittals, and other supporting documentation; draft formal comment letters, memos, and agreements for management review and approval; work with internal and external stakeholders; perform site visits and inspections; conduct/lead meetings; assist in developing process and procedures, and project management activities.
