Solutions Consultant
Solutions Consultants are responsible for providing excellent guest service by managing check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, and addressing guest inquiries and concerns. They must be knowledgeable about the hotel's services, amenities, and local area, and are responsible for maintaining a clean and organized front desk and lobby area.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Service:
Greet guests warmly, register and check them in and out, and provide information about the hotel and local area.
Reservations:
Take and manage reservations, including group bookings, and handle cancellations and modifications.
Financial Transactions:
Process payments, including credit cards, cash, and other forms of payment, and handle currency conversions.
Communication:
Answer phone calls, relay messages, and respond to guest inquiries and concerns. Utilize business tools to log issues to be followed up by other departments as well as adequate follow up communication with guests to ensure concerns have been addressed.
Problem Solving:
Address guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
Maintenance:
Maintain the cleanliness and order of the front desk and lobby area.
Teamwork:
Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a smooth and positive guest experience.
Training:
Actively participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of hotel policies, procedures, and property management systems.
- Basic computer skills.
- Good problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work with a diverse range of guests and team members.
