Internship Overview
Cancer Grand Challenges is seeking a graduate-level research intern to conduct a comprehensive landscape analysis of global governmental and quasi-governmental funding mechanisms for cancer research. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in global health policy, biomedical research funding, or public-private partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct a landscape analysis of global government and related funding mechanisms that support cancer research.
  • Identify key players, policies, funding trends, and strategic priorities across countries and regions.
  • Develop a detailed report summarizing findings, with insights relevant to Cancer Grand Challenges’ strategic planning.
  • Present key findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
  • Engage with the Cancer Grand Challenges team to understand the structure and operations of a global funding initiative.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a graduate-level program (e.g., MPH, MPA, MSc, MPP, PhD, MBA) in public health, public policy, global health, biomedical sciences, international relations, international business/economics or a related field.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with experience in policy analysis or funding landscape reviews.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Interest in cancer research, global health funding, or public-private partnerships.
