Reports To: OT Supervisor
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/ DUTIES
- Work under regular direction according to the agency and Birth to Three mission and philosophy
- Provides evaluation, assessment, intervention and service coordination, in a child’s natural learning environment, as part of a multidisciplinary team for children with developmental delays.
- Collaborate with the family and a multi-disciplinary team to develop goals and outcomes for children referred to Birth to Three
- Coach family members and caregivers on different intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over in community settings
- Maintain an accurate record of services provided and submit all documentation including but not limited to evaluation reports and progress reports in a timely manner
- Maintain proper documentation to comply with state regulations
REQUIREMENTS
- Must hold a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school recognized by the AOTA
- Must be licensed in the state of Connecticut
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Hand dexterity ability (ability to operate mobile device, telephone, computer)
- Ability to travel to multiple locations
