Foundation Intern

Service Credit Union is seeking a Foundation Intern who will be responsible for assisting with various tasks for the Service CU Impact Foundation, with a focus on fundraising and event planning for its annual golf tournament.

Pay:  $22.00 per hour

Hours: Full time, Monday – Friday 8:30am-5:00m. 

Work location: Portsmouth, NH

The Day to Day:

  • Support the Foundation Director with tasks related to fundraising and event planning for annual golf tournament
  • Take ownership of the golf tournament’s silent auction, including identifying, soliciting and organizing items
  • Make updates in Wordpress to golf tournament webpage
  • Assist in ordering giveaways and supplies for the tournament
  • Communicate with sponsors via email and phone: answer questions, invoice for payment, etc.
  • Research potential donors/sponsors for the Foundation’s two annual fundraising events
  • On site to help with tasks at golf tournament on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 in Rye, NH
  • Other miscellaneous tasks as needed
  • Opportunity to connect with other members of the Marketing team to learn about their roles

 

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Must be detail oriented and able to manage time effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing
  • Proficient with Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and various web-based applications required
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced event planning role
  • Access to a vehicle and ability to travel locally as needed
