HR Intern
We are currently looking for an innovative and motivated business student to join our Human Resources team as an HR Intern. This is a full-time internship and fantastic opportunity to learn from experienced HR professionals, gain hands-on experience in a professional setting, and develop a strong foundation in HR practices that will prepare you for your future career.
As the HR Intern, you will gain exposure across various HR functions, including recruitment, HR analytics, employee wellness and HR operations. You’ll provide support for both day-to-day responsibilities and project work, such as leading a digital record conversion and assist with enhancing the intern program to support the credit union's workforce pipeline efforts. Additionally, you'll gain valuable exposure to the business operations of the credit union, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of how HR functions integrate with the overall business strategies and goals.
What you will need to be successful:
- Expected Bachelor’s degree by 2026 in Business with a focus in Human Resource or Industrial/Organizational Psychology preferred
- Genuine interest in Human Resources and a desire to contribute to the success of the HR team
- Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience or coursework in project management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize assigned work effectively
- Ability to analyze data and generate insights based on findings
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and environments
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required

Location: 4800 SW Research Way, Corvallis
Schedule: 40 hours a week during the summer with the potential opportunity to stay on during the school year, working up to 20 hours a week and with lots of flexibility for class schedule
Work type: Temporary full-time, onsite and nonexempt
Compensation: $24/hour
