Position Summary:

Join a fast-growing start-up design firm, supported by the strength of a national franchise organization, in supporting the team with all aspects of the design business. SPRUCED is in search of (1) Interior Design Intern for the SUMMER 2025 season. This role will encompass the entry- level tasks required to run a successful interior design and construction business.   • Ability to meet deadlines
  • A valid Driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable transportation
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA

Interior Design Intern: Applicants must be currently enrolled in an Interior Design or Interior Decorating degree program. This role will report directly to the Design Team and be responsible for the following specific tasks: 

  • Assist Design Team in design project support and administrative tasks
  • Basic knowledge of interior design tools such as Foyr, Sketch Up, Illustrator, and Photoshop preferred
  • Assist with receiving and returning packages/samples
  • Assist with design related tasks such as perspective rendering, space planning, material selection, and specifications
  • Assist team in preparing for client meetings
  • Attend and assist with project installations
  • Organize and maintain sample library; order samples when needed
  • Assist with photoshoots of completed projects
  • Run errands and make deliveries as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
