Short Form Video Editor Chef Joshua Weissman (Freelance)

We’re looking for a Short Form Video Editor who can move fast, edit even faster, and make highly watchable food content. You’ll be turning raw footage—both from our long-form episodes and original short-form shoots—into scroll-stopping, mouthwatering vertical videos for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels.

Success in this role means being able to quickly and accurately mimic our existing editing style and pacing. If you can match the vibe, bring the speed, and make food look cinematic in 45 seconds or less—you’ll crush it here.

REQUIREMENT: You must be able to provide examples of your short form video editing work to be considered and/or you will undergo anywhere from 1-3 paid test edits before being considered for regular work.

LOCATION: You can be remote but ideally we want people located in/around/willing to relocate to Austin, TX as that's where we're building our company! 

What You’ll Do:

• Chop up long-form footage and edit original short-form shoots into 30–60 second videos
• Add clean, punchy subtitles, music, sound design, and motion graphics (nothing cringe)
• Turn around edits fast—like, same-day fast sometimes
• Nail our current tone, rhythm, and energy across every platform
• Keep an eye on what’s trending and bring those ideas to the table (literally)

• You’re a wizard with Adobe Premiere Pro
• You can match visual style and pacing with precision—and fast
• You know short-form storytelling like the back of your hand
• You get YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Reels—and what makes people stop scrolling
• Bonus points if you love food and know your way around a well-made smash burger
