Summer Internship in Litigation Finance
Program Overview
Our 10-week Summer Internship offers college students a unique, hands-on learning experience in the world of litigation finance and structured investments. Interns will work directly with the Chief Investment Officer (CIO), senior analysts, and litigation finance professionals on live transactions and real case analyses.
This immersive program is ideal for students with interests in investment banking, litigation finance, private equity, asset management, or alternative investing.
What You’ll Learn & Do
Throughout the internship, interns will:
Collaborate with senior investment professionals on active litigation finance deals
Analyze complex legal claims and judgments for investment viability
Build and refine financial models (cash flow, securitization, valuation)
Conduct due diligence and risk assessments on legal portfolios and structured assets
Gain exposure to esoteric asset classes like CMBS, RMBS, ABS, and litigation-backed securities
Work with industry-standard tools: Bloomberg, Yieldbook, PolyPaths, InteX DealMaker, Trepp CMBS, Locus, and BlackRock Anser
Prepare internal reports and pitch materials for client and investor meetings

Week 7: Senior Partner Collaboration & Internal Presentations
Week 8: Investor Relations & Distribution Strategy
Week 9: Risk Management & Valuation Techniques
Week 10: Final Capstone Project & Presentation to CIO and Partners
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking ambitious, analytical, and curious students who are excited about the intersection of law and finance.
Ideal candidates will have:
A strong academic background in finance, economics, business, law, or related fields
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
Interest or experience in legal studies, investment banking, credit, or structured finance
Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Bloomberg or modeling platforms is a plus
Effective communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
