$15 per hour, 6-8 hours per week, 6 weeks

Lehigh University Art Galleries (LUAG) seeks dynamic individuals of all backgrounds, experiences, and abilities to join our team. Dates and times of the internship are flexible. Candidates do not need to possess an extensive background or knowledge in art, but a love of art and culture is a plus. Recommended for current undergraduate and graduate students and recent university graduates. Students from all universities are welcome to apply.
Museum Accessibility Interns will have the opportunity to contribute to the following access and outreach initiatives and programs at LUAG:
- Audio Description review and recording
- Tactile art models
- Creating access materials and printed materials for the museum
- Developing pre-visit materials
- Assist with planning for Fall 2025 access programs
- Access Culture Initiative
Qualifications:
- Students majoring in areas of Arts Administration, Special Education, Art Therapy, etc. a plus but not required
- Excellent organizational skills and an eye for details
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with writing and developing tours and lessons plans not required but a plus
- Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Canva (experience in Adobe Creative Suite or other design programs are a plus)
- Experience with Polycam, Blendr, and 3D printing technology (not required but a plus)
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Bilingual a plus but not required
