The Li Lab in the Neuroscience Department at MUSC is seeking a motivated and responsible individual to help care for our zebrafish colony. We use zebrafish to study neuron-glia interactions, and maintaining a healthy and stable fish colony is essential to our research. This is a part-time position requiring committed time and effort in the early morning or late afternoon on weekdays, with an option for weekend fish care. The expected workload is 5 to 12 hours per week. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and patience. Prior experience with animal care is a plus but not required. Training will be provided. Pay rate after training is $15/hour. A long-term commitment (more than 3 months) is preferred.
