Summer Intern - Real Estate

Summer Intern – Real Estate Office
Location: New York City | Internship Term: Summer 2025

We are seeking a motivated and curious Summer Intern to join our dynamic real estate office in New York City. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain exposure to all facets of the real estate business, from property management and compliance to investment analysis and project execution.

Key Learning Opportunities & Responsibilities:

  • Gain an understanding of the property management business, including day-to-day operations and tenant relations.
  • Learn the intricacies of New York City property compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in analyzing investment models and financing structures used in real estate transactions.
  • Support the office with general administrative tasks such as answering phones, filing documents, data entry, and digital organization.
  • Participate in property tours and learn how real estate assets are evaluated.
  • Interface with contractors, observe project scoping, review job descriptions, and assist in comparing pricing and proposals.
  • Attend real estate networking events to build industry awareness and relationships.
  • Work closely with the owners and executive team, offering exposure to high-level strategy and decision-making.

This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities, and interns should be prepared to take on a variety of tasks as needed in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications:

  • Interest in real estate, business, finance, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable in both office and on-site settings.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel and Google Workspace is preferred.
