Production Planner Internship

Summary:

The Production Planner Intern's job involves supporting the production planning team by assisting with tasks like production order management, inventory management, and data analysis. This includes tasks like monitoring inventory, analyzing production data to identify trends, and helping with demand forecasting

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create and organize a production order on a daily basis
  • Maintain different reporting systems to make sure that all forms of documentation are accurate and timely.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Education and/or Experience:

Currently pursuing a four (4) year degree

 

Qualifications:

  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Must exhibit a high level of flexibility and an ability to multi-task.
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Due to ITAR regulations, must be a U.S. Person
  •  

Language, Math, and Reasoning Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, drawings, set-up sheets, travelers, procedure manuals and government regulations. 

 

Computer Skills:

Must be able to use the computer and computer software as required by job.

Work Environment:

The physical surroundings for this position are inside a factory and product manufacturing environment with work split between the offices and shop areas at all the UMBRAGROUP facilities and at customer and/or vendor locations worldwide.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.  The noise levels are moderate to loud.
