Job Title: Marketing Intern

Employment Type: Internship, W2, Authorized to work in the United States required

Reports to: Marketing Manager

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Job Location:  Remote, no travel

Weekly Hours: 32 hours/wk (Core hours: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm EST)

Compensation: $2,076.48 stipend for 9 weeks (June 2, 2025 - August 1, 2025)

Benefits: Eligible for 401(k) participation (≥ 21 years of age)

The Opportunity

You will support our Marketing team on a variety of activities as we scale business operations and improve our processes. 
 

Role Responsibilities

The Marketing Intern will provide general support to Cynuria’s marketing team across a variety of initiatives, contributing to both day-to-day operations and ongoing campaigns. Responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting the creation and refinement of marketing and proposal materials, such as pitch decks, one-pagers, and visual presentations
  • Drafting and editing internal and external communications
  • Organizing and storing marketing files as directed in the shared drive structure
  • Participate in internal staff meetings
  • Daily use of Google Suite and the G-Drive

Project Specific Responsibilities

  • Creative content development: Assist in brainstorming and crafting visually engaging content that aligns with Cynuria's brand identity.
  • Social media management: Support the development of social media content, including writing captions, sourcing visuals, and collaborating on creative direction. Schedule and post content, engage with followers, and track engagement metrics.
  • Email campaign design: Collaborate on designing visually appealing email templates, drafting engaging copy, and setting up campaigns for marketing initiatives.
  • Brandbook & BMG conversion in Canva: Transfer Cynuria’s brandbook assets and guidelines into Canva, creating templates that are visually cohesive and easy to use across marketing efforts.
  • Collaborative blog & resource development: Collaborate with marketing team to research, draft, and publish engaging blog posts and resources for the website.
  • AI content and tool support: Assist with the development and rollout of Cynuria’s new AI-focused series, contributing ideas and helping to format digital content.
  • Website support: Help with content updates, quality checks, and formatting edits to ensure the site reflects current priorities and offerings.

You add the following required skills and experience to our team:

  • Rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior.
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems through quantitative and quantitative analysis.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Demonstrated research skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Adaptable to shifting priorities.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with the Google Suite and Canva tools.


 

Work Environment and Physical Demands of the Job: Working remotely, all work is computer-based, including frequent video meetings. Core working hours on Eastern Standard Time.
