Position Summary
This internship will support the enhancement of self-service data analysis and reporting, in alignment with the agency's data governance and strategy initiatives. This position also plays a critical role in the automation and optimization of data processes. This role performs complex (journey-level) clerical work. Works under general supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
- Accesses and review data in various states.
- Cleanses data for standardization, de-duplication, etc.
- Mock-up and develop simple dashboards for internal staff use.
- Performs manual data entry to assist with system migration.
- Assists in the development of materials for vendor outreach.
- Performs user acceptance testing.
- Identifies anomalies in data sources.
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
Education
- A recent graduate, or a student currently enrolled in a college or university with a major or course work in data science, business administration, computer science, or a related field.
- Must possess academic performance that is considered in good academic standing by college/university standards.
