Our program will expose students to the entire industrial sales process. We’ll demonstrate how students beginning an industrial sales career can still make a positive impact with everyday customers. We’ll provide a vision of what a long-term industrial sales career can look like and how rewarding it can be.
What You’ll Do:
As an intern, you will gain valuable experience in multiple areas of our company including:
- Inside Sales & Outside Sales: Learn the sales process, assist in lead generation, and interact with customers to understand their needs.
- Operations: Get a behind-the-scenes look at how our operations function and contribute to efficiency and process improvement.
- Customer Service/Technical Support: Provide support to our clients and learn how to resolve issues effectively while enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Marketing: Assist in our marketing campaigns by conducting research, creating content, and helping with social media strategies.
- Product & Materials Management: Understand inventory management, procurement, and logistics to ensure our products are where they need to be.
- Product Training: Participate in developing training materials and sessions that help our staff and customers get the best use out of our products.
Intern Project
Baldwin Supply has a goal that involves creating and implementing selling strategies that supplement the efforts of our Outside Sales Team. With this goal in mind, the purpose of this project is to pilot and measure the success of such strategies. Strategies can incorporate SEO and E-Commerce, actions targeting industry trade shows nationally, selling to alterative channels, selling internationally, and lead generation using alternative methodologies from outside our industry.
What We’re Looking For:
- Passionate, motivated, and proactive students or recent graduates in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Distribution, Sales, etc.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within teams but also take initiative on individual tasks.
- A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
