Our vibrant and faith-filled Catholic school community is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Intermediate Grades Teacher to join our team for the 2025--2026 school year. The ideal candidate will be mission-aligned, passionate about Catholic education, and committed to fostering both academic excellence and spiritual growth in young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach core subjects to students in grades 3--5, with a strong focus on literacy and reading development
- Create and maintain a structured, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
- Integrate faith and values into the daily life of the classroom
- Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to support student growth and success
- Participate fully in the life of the school and the broader parish community
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred
- A valid California teaching credential (or reciprocal credential from another state) is preferred.
- Expertise or strong interest in reading instruction and development is preferred
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills required
- A love for working with children and a desire to support their academic and spiritual formation
- Practicing Catholic preferred, but all mission-appropriate candidates are encouraged to apply
