Sports Psychologist

Seatown FC is seeking dedicated and passionate Sports Psychologists to support the mental and emotional development of our youth players ages 8-17. We’re looking for professionals who are committed to helping young athletes build confidence, resilience, and a strong mindset — both on and off the field. Responsibilities:

  • Provide group and/or one-on-one sessions focusing on mental skills such as confidence, focus, emotional regulation, and motivation.
  • Collaborate with coaches to develop strategies that support athlete well-being and performance.
  • Educate players and parents on topics such as managing stress, handling pressure, and creating healthy habits.
  • Support players in developing a positive team mindset and strong interpersonal communication.
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all athletes.

Experience:

  • Background in Sports Psychology, Psychology, or a related field (Bachelor’s or higher preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Passion for sports and community impact.

Commitment:

  • 1–2 sessions per week (60–90 minutes each), days are flexible.
  • Occasional availability for weekend workshops or parent meetings.
  • Location: 430 S 156th St, Burien, WA 98148 – Moshier Park.

Compensation:

  • Competitive monthly stipend.
  • All materials, space, and support provided by Seatown FC.
