as a Contract Therapist or Contract Resident Therapist:
We are currently hiring new psychotherapists - open to independent licensed and supervisees of social work, psychologists or residents in counseling!
Moving Forward PLC is a busy psychotherapy practice that was founded in 2007 and is looking to add another contract or resident therapist. This is an opportunity to get experience in a private-fee-only practice in the heart of historic Old Town, Alexandria.
We offer bountiful referrals from the practice with steady client hours. A flexible schedule that can work around a provider’s family obligations, if needed. Comprehensive administrative and marketing support; our providers can focus on clinical work and leave administrative challenges to us. We provide a warm and collegial atmosphere that includes regular clinical case meetings and consultation.
We are seeking a self-motivated psychotherapist interested in a subcontracting position that has growth potential. Serving clients primarily in-office. Experience and enjoyment working with children and adolescents is a must! Interest in running groups is helpful but not required. Dr. Cole will work with you as you assimilate into a private practice setting. However, you must be working toward a Virginia independent license, in one of the following counseling professions (Social Work, Psychologist, or Licensed Professional Counselor). Availability to work afternoon/evening and weekend hours and a minimum of 12 client contact hours per week is preferred. Potential to expand hours for the right candidate who joins our team.
