Clinical Quality Intern
Position Summary
The Clinical Quality Intern will assist in reviewing clinical documentation, classifying, and resolving internal incident reports within our internal ticketing system along with activities assigned by Director of Clinical Quality. This role will also help identify and escalate critical incidents to the designated parties. This is a part-time (25 hours per week), temporary, paid, six-month internship with potential for continuation based on performance and organizational need.
Success measures include adherence to Centria policies, flawless execution of tasks, and meeting or exceeding personal qualitative and quantitative key performance indicator (KPI) metrics.
Duties and Responsibilities

- Review and classify internal Incident Reports via the internal ticketing system.
- Correct data entry to accurately reflect all information included in the Incident Report.
- Review new Incident Reports and escalate critical incidents to the relevant collaborators based on defined criteria.
- Verify that relevant collaborators were alerted to critical incidents at the time of the occurrence and that all necessary steps were completed.
- Develop reports and visual analysis of data to drive decisions around risk reduction and present to the Director of Clinical Quality.
- Support internal communication around incident reporting.
- Report out weekly on task completion and accomplishments as well as any barriers impacting efficiency.
- Compliance with Centria’s Code of Conduct, policies and procedures, and Federal and State laws.
- Responsibility to report violations of Company policies or the Code of Conduct.
Qualifications
Education and Licenses
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Actively pursuing a relevant degree such as a degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field
Work Experience
1+ year of general work experience
Equipment and Technology Requirements
- Basic computer skills
- Working knowledge of laptop/desktop PC
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Proficiency in G Suite, including Google Sheets

Working Conditions
- Centria's office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM.
- Additional time or occasional shifts in schedule may be required to complete the above work or meet company objectives.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, physical requirements such as bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 30 pounds may be required. This role will require sitting most of the day as well as walking and standing periodically. This role may require close visual acuity on computer screens or monitors and the ability to analyze data and figures on a screen.
