Student Office Assistant
The Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs is seeking a student worker to assist with office assistant related tasks, such as assisting the administrative assistant III with online form management, shredding, copying, filing, running errands and other miscellaneous office duties. The selected student must be willing to work in between semesters and during summer.
On occasion, the student may be asked to answer phone calls.
Work Schedule: Flexible - Office hours are M-F, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Individual work schedule is determined based on student and office availability.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be detail oriented.
- Must be punctual, reliable, and courteous.
- Must have knowledge of phone etiquette.
- Must have a pleasant and positive attitude.
- Must have the ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information.
- Must have strong organizational skills and be a team player.
- Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Must have the ability to follow directions, work independently, and stay on task with minimal supervision.
- Must be available to assist for the Fall, Summer and Spring Commencement Ceremonies.
Payrate determination: $10.00
Direct supervisor: Stacey Rodriguez (Executive Assistant)
Opportunity for continuous employment until student’s graduation - contingent upon satisfactory annual performance evaluations.
