Amenities and Hospitality Manager Intern

University City Housing is seeking an Amenities and Hospitality Manager Intern to join our Salem Harbour team in Bensalem, PA. https://salemharbour.com/

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, energetic, and able to set a positive example for other UCH staff!

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Organize pool area events for holidays (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day)
• Manage schedules of staff members to ensure lifeguard coverage during operating hours
• Coordinate set up of clubhouse & pool rentals
• Ensure pool rules and regulations are being enforced
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests
• Mediate resident concerns
• Provide training as needed to summer staff
• Check and confirm payroll hours
• Ensure proper operating conditions of all equipment
• Handle first aid situations as needed
• Document & report any incident that may occur
• Monitor & log pool chemical levels to both UCH and health department
• Track supplies and communicate inventory with management.
• Balance cash flow including collections and making deposits

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in college/university
• Must be enthusiastic, personable, & organized
• Ability to multi-task
• Must have Lifeguard Certification or be willing to obtain Lifeguard Certification 
• Must have PA Clearances or be willing to obtain PA Clearances
