Social & Paid Media Manager

Summit Recommerce Group is a network of Kid to Kid and Uptown Cheapskate store locations based in the east coast from GA to PA.  We're looking for a Social and Paid Media Manager who can help craft content for our paid ads, support our stores in producing great organic content, and manage a small team of marketers to support store needs. 

This role is a revenue-generating position that will help our stores reach our target audiences, drive traffic to shop, and raise awareness of our resale retail model. Your responsibilities will fall under four main categories outlined below. 

 

Team Leadership & Management

  • Manage and support two full-time team members: a Social Media Engagement Specialist and a Meta Campaigns Specialist.
  • Provide clear direction, set priorities, and ensure team output is timely, aligned with brand goals, and driving results.
  • Offer ongoing coaching and performance feedback to help each team member grow in their role.

Organic Social Media Strategy

  • Create and manage monthly social media calendars for both Uptown Cheapskate and Kid to Kid, factoring in promotions, events, and brand guidelines, and providing store teams with clear direction and flexibility.
  • Develop and distribute a consistent weekly cadence of branded content that store teams can use to supplement their local content, ensuring brand alignment across markets.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and guidance to improve content quality at the store level, focusing on five stores at a time to deliver targeted, high-impact support.

 

Paid Social Media Management

  • Work closely with the marketing team to shape paid social media strategy and promotional planning.
  • Oversee the Meta Campaigns Specialist to ensure efficient use of ad budget, including reviewing campaign reports, creative quality, placement effectiveness, and performance.
  • Manage a Meta ad budget of $15,000–$35,000 per month, making data-informed decisions to optimize ad spend.

 

Influencer Outreach & Coordination

  • Develop and lead company’s influencer outreach strategy, targeting 2–3 local micro-influencers per store each month (50–75 total visits monthly) to help generate quality in-store content.
  • Coordinate influencer involvement for key events such as Grand Openings, VIP parties, and Anniversary Sales to ensure strong event coverage.
  • Train and delegate execution tasks—such as influencer research, communication, and scheduling—to the Social Media Engagement Specialist, using them as a key support resource.

The right candidate for this position will be experienced in creating social content and will have a desire to learn more about all aspects of marketing.  We view this role as a stepping stone to a larger role within our network.  Currently the CEO is acting Marketing Director and would like to pass this baton to someone else.
