Food Service Worker

The Food Service Worker is able to work in a fast-paced indoor/outdoor environment, learn about the products, and engage with customers from around the world in a friendly and professional manner. She/he will be joining a small but mighty team and start-up business committed to providing excellent customer service and driving sales through upselling techniques.

This role is open to candidates of all backgrounds and abilities.

Education and Experience:

• Previous experience in retail, customer service or sales is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs. throughout shift.
• Owners will train on food preparation and handling techniques.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Willingness to learn new techniques for food preparation.
• Ability to see a need and fill the gaps, for instance cleaning, stocking, prepping, setup/take down.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND INFORMATION:

• Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings and holidays (typically closed on Sunday’s).
• Must have own transportation and remain highly punctual and reliable.
