Program Coordinator
Summary:
Touch Education Technology is seeking a Program Coordinator with strong interpersonal skills, knowledge of the Boston area, and focused knowledge topics related to our online and in person programming. This is a dynamic role that focuses on delivery of our education programs, but also has growth potential in our marketing and communications departments as well.
This role is in person for the period of Summer 2025, and virtual per-diem for the remainder of the year. This role is ideal for undergraduates looking for in-person work in the summer and flexible online work during the academic year. Touch Education Technology seeks a motivated applicant with potential to come on as a full-time employee upon graduation.
Responsibilities:
Project Facilitation (Online and in Person):
- Oversee agenda preparation, feedback synthesis, attendance tracking, and follow-ups to ensure smooth program execution.
- Identify struggling student groups, provide guidance, and foster proactive communication to enhance the learning experience.
- Track attendance, analyze student participation trends, and provide actionable reports to inform program improvements.
- Where applicable, familiarize yourself with project content and act in quasi-TA role for project facilitation.
In-Person Responsibilities (Summer 2025):
- Ensure student safety while commuting to and from academic workshops
- Provide important background on Boston area and its history
Internal Work and Business Development
- Work closely with the Digital Marketing and Business Development teams to integrate insights from program delivery into marketing campaigns and outreach efforts.
- Act as a bridge between students, mentors, and leadership, driving engagement and community-building initiatives.
- Conduct interviews, participate in info sessions, and contribute to business development strategies from a program perspective.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be based in Cambridge or the greater Boston area and able to commute for in-person meeting between the dates of July 20-August 28
- Prior demonstration of leadership abilities within a team environment
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain a personable, yet professional demeanor
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Prior familiarity with the Boston area, comfort using public transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Major in Data Science, Operations/Business Analytics, Computer Science, Psychology, Neuroscience, Robotics Engineering, and Electrical Engineering with ability to familiarize yourself with project materials in those fields.
- Proficiency in Mandarin, Korean or Japanese preferred but not required
