Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As an Growth Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth through new and existing initiatives that span across product features, performance marketing, and business development. Your key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing data-driven growth strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Conducting market research to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for expansion.
- Collaborating with product development teams to create features that enhance user experience and drive engagement.
- Designing and running experiments, including A/B testing, to validate hypotheses and optimize growth metrics such as user acquisition, retention, and monetization.
- Managing data syncs with 3rd party platforms driving business operations to ensure accuracy of data compared to internal data models.
- Analyzing performance metrics (e.g., conversion rates, churn rates) to inform product iterations and improvements.
- Mapping customer journeys and creating user personas to refine product offerings.
- Acting as a bridge between marketing, engineering, design, and data science teams to ensure alignment on growth initiatives.
- Mentoring junior team members to cultivate a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Requirements and Skills
To excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
- Experience: Pursuing a technical degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Math, or Business Analytics. Experience in SaaS or technology-driven industries is preferred.
- Technical expertise: Familiarity with data analysis and platforms (SQL, Snowflake, BI tools, web analytics tools), product development processes (Agile), performance marketing platforms (Impact, Google Ads, etc), and customer communication (Email, SMS, Push).
- Data-driven mindset: Proven ability to collect, analyze, and report quantitative and qualitative data to guide decision-making.
- Business acumen: General understanding of market trends, profitability strategies, and ROI analysis.
- Communication skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities for interacting with stakeholders across departments.
- Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify challenges, propose innovative solutions, and adapt strategies based on results.
- Interpersonal skills: Collaborative team player capable of building trust across diverse teams.
