Are you an experienced health information professional with a passion for accuracy, compliance, and patient care? The Illinois Department of Human Services is seeking a dedicated Health Information Administrator to lead the medical records program at Alton Mental Health Center.

💼 What You’ll Do:
• Manage and supervise patient medical and clinical records
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and accrediting bodies
• Coordinate legal and court documentation processes
• Serve as liaison to the Madison County Mental Health Court
• Lead training efforts and oversee health info management practices
• Chair the Health Information Services Committee

📚 What We’re Looking For:
• RHIA certification with 1 year of professional experience OR
• RHIT certification with 5 years of progressive experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• A passion for accurate, secure, and compassionate recordkeeping
