Talent and Culture Intern

SUMMARY: 

The MFH Talent and Culture intern will assist with general departmental work and special human resources projects. 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Provide general assistance with departmental work, including benefits administration, recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, personnel files and general filing, performance reviews, and employee relations
  • Assist with special human resources projects as assigned
  • Other relevant duties as assigned by the supervisor

INTERNSHIP PROGRAM DETAILS:

  • Open to start dates between now and June/July
  • Duration of up to 6 months
  • This internship is for 20 hrs per week, onsite work is required
  • This is a paid internship at $20/hr

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND REQUIRED SKILLS: 

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Higher education degree in progress preferred in the areas of organizational psychology, human resources management, business administration, operations, communications
  • Demonstrated interest in a career in human resources management
  • 1 year of administrative experience required
  • Ability to maintain confidence and exercise good judgement
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Strong organizational skill and attention to detail
