About the Position:
The AI Business Intern will apply skills in AI frameworks, policy, and business use case development, as well as business strategy and data analysis. The intern will work under the leadership of multiple C-level executives, including the CEO and CMO while also collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across Cologix. The successful intern will bring a mix of AI knowledge and business acumen which will be applied through researching and recommending AI solutions to improve business efficiencies across the enterprise. This role provides a solid foundation for a future career in AI strategy, business administration, and digital transformation.
The Cologix internship program will run for up to 12 weeks, 40 hours a week, commencing on, or around, June 9th, and concluding by August 30th.
What You Will Do Daily:
- Analyze workflows, challenges, and trends to identify AI use cases and opportunities within Cologix that may result in improved efficiency.
- Engage extensively with stakeholders to gather insights and assess AI adoption potential.
- Develop and maintain a structured repository of AI opportunities, focusing on business, technical, and customer impact.
- Create reports and presentations to communicate AI insights to decision-makers and actively participate in strategy discussions.
- Research AI platforms, tools, and vendors to evaluate the feasibility of possible adoption.
- Assist in AI proof-of-concept projects as needed, monitor outcomes, and ensure AI adoption aligns with ethical and regulatory standards.
- Implement guardrails and KPIs to capture progress and value of AI projects and contribute to visualizing updates for executive stakeholders and sponsors.
What Makes You a Good Fit: (Qualifications)
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s level graduate program incorporating Business, AI/ML and/or Computer Science focus areas.
- Comprehensive knowledge of AI/ML concepts and techniques and insight on applying those concepts as business solutions.
- Previous business focused project experience, internships, or coursework related to AI/ML.
- Intrinsic motivation with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with demonstrated aptitude in applying AI and automation for business process improvement.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to successfully juggle multiple projects, deliverables, and deadlines.
- High adaptability in a dynamic environment.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel) and other data visualization tools.
