For the student worker position in the Department of Marketing, we are looking for a dependable student to help assist our department, which is located in the McCoy College of Business, with office tasks for Summer 2025. We will be hiring before the beginning of the Summer semester, and will be conducting interviews as soon as possible. We would like to hire someone that would like to stay with the Department for at minimum a year, but likely two years. 

About 10-12 hours a week (during business hours) and $10/hr.

Monday & Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM

Willing and able to work on campus during Summer 2025

Responsibilities will include:

-Reception duties to include greeting visitors and assisting them to their destination

-Answering the phone and making calls on behalf of the department

-Word processing, data entry, creating and updating records in the department database

-Copying, scanning, filing, and sorting and creating and updating records in the department database

-Compiling information as requested

-Checking and verifying work to maintain accuracy

-Scheduling appointments for the department

-Delivering materials to other campus offices

-All other duties as assigned

 

This position will be for a Student Worker for the Department of Marketing at Texas State University in San Marcos. We are located in McCoy, in Suite 424. Your direct supervisor will be Emily Rayburn - Administrative Assistant III and Breanna Evinger - Administrative Assistant II. Our office holds annual student worker evaluations, which will be conducted in the Spring.
