We are looking for an Estimating Intern to join our team. During your internship, you will expand your knowledge while gaining real-world experience. We will provide regular feedback, mentoring, and supervision by a professional with a background in the field. Our hands-on program will prepare you for a successful career after graduation.

The Estimating Intern will assist the estimating/operations teams with managing their workload. You will gain exposure to: 

Understanding the basics of asphalt, concrete, and excavation/sewer 

Observing and managing projects from start to finish 

Assisting with submitting/tracking any RFIs 

Assisting with submission of finished estimates 

Assisting with entering new bids into the opportunity funnel 

Assisting with making calls/emails to obtain material/vendor quotes 

Assisting with proposal preparation 

Estimating Intern Qualifications:  

Current pursuit of a degree in Construction Management or related field 

Proficiency in Excel and Adobe 

Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work 

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task 

Asphalt or Concrete paving experience is a plus
