Internship Overview:
Are you passionate about storytelling, digital media, and community engagement? NAAM is seeking a Communications Summer Intern to assist with content creation, outreach, and marketing efforts. This internship provides hands-on experience in nonprofit communications, allowing interns to develop skills in writing, social media strategy, and branding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in content creation for NAAM’s website, newsletters, and social media platforms.
- Draft client success stories to highlight NAAM’s impact.
- Support social media management, including scheduling posts and engaging with audiences.
- Design marketing materials such as flyers, graphics, and event promotions.
- Track website and social media analytics to measure engagement and audience reach.
- Assist in organizing events and campaigns to expand NAAM’s visibility.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
- Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite) is a plus.
- Passion for community outreach and nonprofit work.
