KION News Channel 46 is seeking an MMJ for the CBS affiliate serving the Monterey/Salinas/Santa Cruz areas. KION News Channel 46 is in a desirable and very competitive market on California's beautiful Central Coast. This is the ideal opportunity for someone seeking to refine their skills as a reporter while taking their career to the next level.
The ideal candidate will be able to connect with viewers during live newscasts, report on camera clearly, comfortably and accurately. The successful candidate will be able to write effective broadcast copy as well as possess strong story telling skills. They will have the ability to edit video, enterprise stories and meet all deadlines and work schedules. Candidates must have a flexible schedule and public appearances will also be required.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism or equivalent is required. The successful candidate must pass a drug test and background check. A valid driver's license is required.
Pay Range: $38k-$42k annually. Based on experience.
