Student Web Content Editor

The Student Web Content Editor will assist with maintaining, updating, and improving web content across University of Northern Iowa websites. This position is ideal for students interested in communications, digital media, marketing, or web development. You'll edit and update website content using the Drupal content management system. 

No experience is necessary, we will provide training. You will use several online tools to proofread web sites, monitor web pages for outdated or broken links and make corrections as needed. You will use basic layout design and content organization to create the best user experience, and ensure content meets accessibility and university branding guidelines.

Candidates must have strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, good attention to detail, strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks.

The position is year-round, with up to 30 hours a week in the summer and up to 20 hours a week during the academic year.
