Program Supervisor

Lyon County Human Services is currently accepting applications for a full-time, non-exempt Program Supervisor. This position plays a key leadership role in overseeing staff, coordinating services, and ensuring that programs are delivered effectively and in alignment with County goals. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in social services, a passion for team-building, and a commitment to providing high-quality support to individuals and families in need.

The Program Supervisor is responsible for managing daily operations, evaluating staff performance, supporting policy development, and monitoring program budgets and compliance. This role also serves as a key liaison between the County and various community partners and government agencies, ensuring coordinated service delivery and advocating for positive outcomes. A Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field and a minimum of three years of relevant experience are required. This is a meaningful opportunity for a skilled leader to contribute to the health and well-being of Lyon County residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support staff delivering WIC and Home Visiting services
  • Ensure compliance with grant and program requirements
  • Monitor budgets, service outcomes, and quality assurance
  • Collaborate with community partners and public agencies
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and implement improvements

Salary Range*:

  • $31.5238 - $50.4381 per hour (Employee/Employer Paid PERS Retirement)
  • $26.7650 - $42.8241 per hour (Employer Paid PERS Retirement)

*Employees is this classification typically start at the beginning of the salary range, with opportunities for salary advancement based on merit.
