Vehicle Cleaning and Maintenance

The Northern Michigan University Police Department is looking for a detail-oriented student to maintain weekly vehicle cleaning and equipment checks on our department vehicles.

Duties include washing the inside and outside of our patrol and other department vehicles, maintaining a vehicle inventory and check list, cleaning the wash bay and other jobs deemed appropriate by the department.

This position is a 10-15 hour a week position (year-round) with reporting times being very flexible.  Additional hours may be available if desired with other  police department positions.  This is an ideal position for those majoring in Criminal Justice or Automotive technology, however all majors will be considered.
