               As a Before & After School Care Development Professional at the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows (BGCTM), you'll have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of children while enjoying a fun and fulfilling school-year job. You'll work with kids on a variety of activities, including art projects, sports, fitness, and more, helping them to develop new skills, build confidence, and make new friends.

You'll be responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment for children, planning and leading activities, and serving as a positive role model and mentor.

• Pay starts at $14.50 an hour.

This is what your schedule could look like:

• This role is part time, with flexible scheduling to accommodate personal life or class schedules. We always aim for consistent schedules for our staff. 
• Shifts are Monday - Friday:
  • 7:00 AM – 9:30 AM
  • 1:30 PM – 6:00/7:00 PM
• Reno/Sparks Locations- Please provide your location preference on your application!

We have great staff that can teach you skills on the job, but there are some traits that will make you more successful as a Before & After School Youth Care Professional .

• You are a fun, energetic, and excited individual
• You want to pursue a career in education and childcare such as: HDFS, CDA, Education, Counseling etc…
• You have a passion for building a better community
• You have the ability to communicate and cooperate with children, other staff and parents.
• Minimum of 17 years or older
