Responsibilities:

  • Develop engaging storylines, dialogues, and character narratives for mobile games.
  • Write in-game text, including tutorials, item descriptions, quest logs, and UI copy.
  • Collaborate with game designers and artists to ensure cohesive storytelling and world-building.
  • Adapt writing style to fit different game genres, from casual to RPGs and interactive fiction.
  • Assist in creating marketing copy for app stores, social media, and promotional materials.
  • Revise and edit scripts based on feedback from developers and playtesters.

Qualifications:

  • Strong storytelling and creative writing skills, especially in interactive media.
  • Willingness to learn game development and the unique constraints of mobile gaming narratives.
  • Experience with branching dialogues, choice-based storytelling, or AI-generated content is a plus.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and adapt to evolving game design needs.
  • Any previous experience in game writing, creative writing, or scriptwriting is is plus.
