RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DESCRIPTION:
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Provide administrative support for the MSW Program, ensuring alignment with the 2022 CSWE standards and facilitating data-driven decision-making in alignment with Equity 2030 to maintain high-quality social work education.
- Utilize research skills in program evaluation, development, and reporting, including survey design, data collection, and analysis of program data to ensure compliance with CSWE EPAS standards and support program improvement aligned with Equity 2030's data-driven goals.
- Prepare and review accreditation-related documents, ensuring ADEI principles are integrated into the explicit and implicit curriculum to foster culturally responsive education and support the Equity 2030 initiative to close educational equity gaps.
- Help coordinate MSW faculty and advisory committee meetings, as well as potential conference participation, ensuring adherence to CSWE’s EPAS standards and fostering an inclusive environment for diverse students, aligned with Equity 2030 goals.
- Assist in the design and management of the curriculum review process and maintain the accreditation database, ensuring that program content meets current standards and reflects the needs of diverse student populations.
- Proofread program-related documents for accuracy and clarity, especially for accreditation purposes.
- Record and distribute meeting minutes for MSW Program meetings to ensure accurate documentation of key discussions and decisions.
- Assist with budget management tasks, such as creating spreadsheets, entering data, and maintaining accurate financial records to support the program's financial health.
- Manage databases for prospective and current students, keeping information up to date to support efficient program administration.
- Design and create fillable PDF forms tailored to program needs.
- Ensure confidentiality and uphold ethical standards within the Program, fostering a supportive and ethical learning environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Commitment to working in a diverse environment.
- Strong writing and verbal skills.
- Able to apply APA standards.
- Able to work on campus as needed.
- Able to use Microsoft office programs including Excel.
- Able to manage databases.
- A bachelor's degree
- Admitted to a Minnesota State University, Mankato graduate program by start date.
- Enrolled in a minimum of six (6) graduate credits per semester during assistantship, and in good academic standing.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Multitasking, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to use research tools such as survey software, etc.
- Knowledge of multiple research methods.
- Ability to interpret, adhere to, and apply policies and accreditation standards.
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse working and learning environment.
SALARY/STIPEND: Up to $10,000 plus tuition stipends, dependent upon availability of funds, period of appointment, and assignment. Appointments made after the tenth day of classes are not eligible for a tuition waiver.

Minnesota State System policy requires that graduate assistants must reside within the State of Minnesota for the duration of their appointment.
