Lead Generation Intern

The Lead Generation Intern at MRP Solutions supports the marketing and sales teams by identifying, nurturing, and qualifying prospective leads to drive business growth. This role involves leveraging database tools and CRM systems such as Salesforce and HubSpot to assist with lead assignment and qualification, conducting research to identify and qualify new prospects, and supporting outreach efforts through cold calling and follow-up on marketing campaigns. The intern will analyze data to identify high-potential targets, prepare reports, and contribute to special projects as assigned. Strong communication skills, professionalism, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms are essential. The position is ideal for an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, who is eager to gain hands-on experience in lead generation and sales support within a dynamic, safety- and quality-focused manufacturing environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Assist with lead assignment/qualification efforts utilizing Apollo, LinkedIn, Salesforce and Hubspot software. 
• Cold calling, as necessary to follow up on direct mail and email campaigns.
• Conduct necessary research to qualify accounts and prospects.
• Enter and analyze reports to upload and identify hot targets.
• Research new prospects for sales team utilizing Linked-In Navigator.
• Special projects as assigned.
  
   

REQUIRED SKILLS / ATTITUDES:

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree with a concentration in Marketing, Business, Public Relations, Communications, or related field of study.
• Some experience with CRM is helpful.
• Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills. Ability to communicate on all levels in various formats is essential.
• Basic mathematical aptitude is required.
• Ability to analyze data, provide trend analysis and present findings.
• Candidate must exude professionalism.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Salesforce or other CRM software required.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties, the employee will be working in an office environment. The employee is required to sit and/or stand for computer, reach with hands and arms and handle objects and other tools, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull, maintain balance, bend at the waist, kneel, walk varying distances, and climb stairs. Employee may be required to lift up to 20 pounds.
